Spiced Raspberry Ginger Green Tea Cocktail
Summer is in full swing with picnics, barbecues and celebrations full of food and alcohol. You know summer parties aren’t the same without a cold, refreshing cocktail, am I right? My Spiced Raspberry Ginger Green Tea Cocktail hits the spot!
I’m not a big drinker, mostly because it contains so many calories that I don’t consider it worth my while most of the time. However, I do enjoy a good party and definitely partake in a drink here and there.
It’s easier than you think to create “healthier”, colorful drink concoctions for festivities like bridal showers, graduation celebrations, and all the fun things summer brings.

Sugar free cocktail
While in the supermarket I stumbled upon a bottle of diet green tea ginger ale. While that’s not a go-to grocery item for me, I thought it might make a really unique flavored cocktail.
I have a rule when making alcoholic drinks; the calories should only come from the alcohol and not syrupy sweet mixers. I like to use non-caloric drinks like diet soda, flavored seltzer or sparkling water, or stevia sweetened drinks like Bai or Vitamin Water. I add nutrition and fiber with fruit or veggies like berries or muddled cucumber.
A few of my favorites low calorie drink combos are:
*Coconut rum with coconut flavored Bai
*Vodka, a little blue curacao and diet lemon-lime soda or sugar free lemonade
*Vodka with seltzer, muddled cucumber and mint
