The Yummiest Lower Sugar Greek Yogurt that’s Almost “Two Good” to be True

Two Good to be true

Two Good Greek lowfat yogurt

I’m proud to partner with Two Good to bring you this post. I was compensated for my time, and I only work with brands I love and use myself and with my family.

It’s no secret that I looooooove Greek yogurt. It’s a staple in my diet and something I truly enjoy almost any time of the day. I always look for varieties that are lower sugar and Two Good Greek Lowfat Yogurt really is almost “Two Good’ to be true!

The last week in June is World Well Being Week which “provides the opportunity for participants worldwide to promote an overall awareness for the wide-ranging aspects of wellbeing, including social, physical, emotional, financial, career, community and environmental wellbeing.” One easy way to support physical wellbeing is to include fermented foods as part of a healthy diet.

Yogurt is trendy 🙂

Did you know that fermented foods, such as yogurt, were voted the number 1 nutrition trend amongst Registered Dietitians in 2020*?!?! I’m raising my hand to that one because yogurt is a nutrition powerhouse. Each serving contains high-quality protein and delivers all nine essential amino acids our bodies need but cannot produce on their own. Plus yogurt is a highly convenient and versatile fridge staple that pairs well with other nutrient-rich foods like fruit, veggies and whole grains.

If you’ve been in the supermarket lately or ordering groceries from home due to our current world situation, you know that there are TONS of varieties of yogurts to choose from. So how do you know which one to pick that will fulfill your desire for great nutrition AND deliciousness? I’ve got you covered 😉

How is Two Good different?

One of the main differences among Greek yogurt varieties is the amount of sugar. Personally, I prefer my yogurt to have a minimal amount of added sugar and Two Good Greek Lowfat Yogurt is the breakthrough lower sugar option with 80% less sugar than the average Greek yogurt.** Two Good was the biggest innovation in the yogurt category in 2019 and a top 10 food and beverage innovation overall in 2019!***

The impressive lower sugar content is achieved through a patent-pending, slow-straining process that removes most of the sugar present in the milk, resulting in a deliciously thick and creamy textured Greek yogurt. The taste is almost too good to be true for a lower sugar product!

Each Two Good yogurt cup contains 3 grams of total carbohydrates, 12 grams of protein and 2 grams of total sugar per serving, compared to an average Greek yogurt at 11 grams of sugar per 5.3 oz.

Yogurt makes preparing quick meals and snacks so easy!

Two Good is now available in 10 flavors: Blueberry, Strawberry, Peach, Mixed Berry, Coconut, Black Cherry with recent additions Raspberry and Mango Hibiscus, all available in single-serve cups, and Vanilla and Plain, available in single-serve cups and multi-serve quarts.

You will never get bored with the endless topping combos. Right now, peaches, nectarines, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are my go-to add-ins. During the fall and winter I like to include pomegranates, diced apples, pears or oranges. And when fresh fruit is not available, dried, canned and frozen versions are your friends. I always have prunes, dried figs, and raisins as well as canned peaches, pears, mandarins and frozen berries on hand. In the spirit of minimizing food waste, yogurt pairs so well with almost anything you have in the fridge, freezer or pantry which is even more important when there are obstacles to food shopping.

Don’t forget to add texture and crunch with nuts like almonds, pistachios, walnuts, peanuts, cashews and seeds such as flax, chia,  sunflower or pumpkin to combine the 12 grams of high quality, complete protein from yogurt with a source of fiber. And, if you are feeling more of a dessert vibe, toss in some chocolate chips, sprinkles or a drizzle of your favorite flavor of syrup like strawberry, chocolate or caramel.

Two Good is part of my breakfast rotation on days that don’t prep in advance. I always add high fiber, whole grain cereal and fruit to create a balanced meal that’s delish and super simple.

Two Good fits into many lifestyles!

In addition to being gluten-free and Non-GMO Project Verified, Two Good can also fit into a keto-friendly lifestyle!****

I purchased a 4 pack of blueberry at Walmart in Oldsmar FL on Wednesday 8/11. I still had several containers in my fridge so decided to eat them first. Just opened the blueberry and read the expiration on top of containers…8/13, two days ago. When you have to pay $1.24/ container, someone needs to do better!!!

      David,

Your comment has 0% to do with this post. If you have an issue with your local Walmart’s stocking process, you need to go to Walmart to complain, not here.

I cannot find any information on whether this yogurt has a live culture. Does it? I never see it advertised.

I would reach out directly if you have questions, I don’t work for the company 🙂 It’s Danone who makes it- also known as Dannon.

My friend buys the key lime flavor but I never see it here or ever even advertised! He replaced his key lime pie addiction with it and his A1C is much lower now 👍
