I am excited to partner with my friends at Dannon® Light & Fit® to bring you this post. I have been compensated for my time, all opinions are my own.

Everyone is busy. Whether it’s your job, kids, or any number of other responsibilities, you likely count on convenience to help you eat right when time is tight. Do you meal prep? If not, you are missing out on an easy opportunity to save time and achieve a healthy balance in your eating and lifestyle activities. We all have trouble making good food decisions when we wait until we are starving to decide what to eat. That’s where pre-planning your meals can be a lifesaver! Check out my easy meal prep tips with Dannon Light & Fit!

The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend increasing intake of nutrient-dense foods, such as fat-free or low-fat dairy products, like yogurt. Yogurt is nutrient-dense and many yogurts often are a good source of protein, calcium and Vitamin D. I’m a lifelong yogurt fan and have enjoyed Dannon Light & Fit for many years. I especially love the Greek varieties for the awesome amount of protein they provide for a modest amount of calories and added sugars. Each unique offering is available in many delicious flavors and works so well into a meal plan. One of my favorite creations incorporating Dannon Light & Fit is my Cherry Vanilla Chip Overnight Oats. Made ahead at night, all you need in the morning is a spoon. No more excuses to avoid eating a protein and fiber-rich, nutritious breakfast.

Since I work from home most days, I don’t need to pack a lunch, but I usually plan on including a yogurt as part of my midday meal. Often it’s accompanied by a salad or sandwich and the sweetness it provides is a perfect finish to a meal.

If you do pack lunch, this PlanetBox is a fantastic tool to help enjoy a nutritious meal away from home. I’m the lucky recipient of a sample PlanetBox to help me create this meal planning post. I LOVE the small cup with a lid to hold salad dressing, hummus, guacamole or a dip for veggies. This is one of my favorite lunches including tuna mixed with guacamole instead of mayo, tomatoes, baked corn and quinoa crackers, fruit and a Dannon Light and Fit Greek nonfat yogurt.

Do you commonly hit the wall around 3pm? If you are a chronic sufferer of the mid-afternoon slump, Dannon Light & Fit Crunch is a fantastic snack. It’s high in protein, a nutrient that helps with satiety, and indulgent enough to help avoid the temptation to dip into the office candy bowl or pastry platter. With flavors like Cookies and Cream, S’mores, Caramel Fudge Pretzel, Key Lime Pie and Peanut Butter Delight, it’s near impossible to settle on just one and I need to find a creative place in the fridge to keep the rest of my family from stealing them. Solution: keep my stash well stocked.

If you are like me and need a little something sweet after dinner, I’ve got a winner for you. Dannon Light & Fit Greek Mousse is whipped like a decadent dessert and offers 9 grams of protein with 80 calories. Top one with some berries for a restaurant caliber sweet ending to your day. Trust me, it’s amazing.
