My attendance at the Blog Brûlée is partially funded by Sponsors of the Blog Brûlée and I received a discounted registration to the event in exchange for writing this post. Opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated for my time.
I am counting the minutes until I arrive this Friday in Vermont for Blog Brulee 2015! It’s an honor to have been chosen to attend this incredible event! Founded by fellow registered dietitians Regan Jones, Gretchen Brown, Deanna Segrave-Daly and Robin Plotkin, “Blog Brûlée is an invitation-only, exciting, experiential weekend shared among a small, intimate number of healthy food bloggers and Registered Dietitian bloggers. The event is designed to provide education and professional development opportunities, as well as a forum for discussion and relationship building surrounding topics such as blogging and social media best practices, fundamentals of food photography, communication and marketing strategies, community niche development, brand identity and monetization.” Sounds cool, right?
That’s a lot to pack into one weekend! I cannot wait to soak up every bit of awesomeness from all of these brilliantly creative minds! RDs are a unique group of people; there’s an unspoken kinship among us. Spending a weekend with this gathering of powerful, imaginative and motivated women will likely be my favorite “conference” of all time.
Not only will I have the good fortune of learning everything I ever wanted to know about blogging, but we will all certainly benefit from some delicious eats from Blog Brulee’s generous sponsors:
